U.S. Preventive Services Task Force Advices Aspirin Usage

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force advised that older adults without heart disease should avoid eating Aspirin just to prevent first heart attack or stroke. The influential health guidelines released by the task force mentioned that the use of Aspirin in 60 age or up age group may lead to bleeding risks. The panel said that the 40 or below age group may benefit little and may not experience bleeding. For those in more than 50 age, the panel said that the benefits of the dosage are unclear.

The panel said that recommendations will be useful to people suffering from high BP, high level of cholesterol, and obese people. People suffering from these health conditions are a higher risk of bleeding and related problems is consume Aspirin to prevent from heart attack.

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force Advices Aspirin UsageThe panel suggested some exercises like walking that reduces the risk of heart attack, gives pain relief, and improves health condition. The panel also suggested that heart attack friendly physical activities and self-management programs will be helpful in easing the symptoms of stroke.

Many Americans suffer from heart attack and it is found more often in people over 40 or 50 age. Now that it is seen to occur in age group below 40, people prefer Aspirin doses to prevent from stroke but the does may lead to other health conditions for the people mostly above 50. The panel said that regardless of age, adults should take doctor’s opinion for starting or stopping Aspirin.
